Randal, plain and simple

Going home

Things to be thankful for today:

  1. Improved condition after detox last week--am almost 100% today;
  2. Survival of this trip of many weeks and miles and states;
  3. Time to be with family and friends, most recently, with DD these last days.

¶ Lord permitting, tomorrow we head home. Will be a night flight. We might make it home by noonish, local time, if all goes well.

¶ New work group about to be officially launched, without my presence or name attached, for when I'm out of the picture. They will continue the name and work of this service of teaching and maintain books in print.

¶ It will also serve as the promotor of the Festival of the Family of God, able to received funds and pay the people who rent their nice facilities out to us.

¶ We have an annual reservation for the Festival at this facility. It's 30 minutes from our house, which is a great advantage, although not the reason why we got it.

¶ As far as we know, everything at home is in order. Designated driver will pick us up at airport. Now to see about one to take us tomorrow.

¶ Since DD is moving in a couple of weeks, our normal itinerary and US entry will change. It may be a long while, if ever, before we make it back to these parts.

¶ Passports and ID cards are in hand. The rest is icing on the cake.
