Things could be better

  1. We have convenient tools for study (and for other purposes) because someone spent incredible amounts of time creating them. I’m grateful to God for that.

  2. Home office is leaking again. I’m beginning to wonder if I got the right guy to put on the new roof over what was the back varanda.

  3. We want God’s blessings without God’s demands. Just doesn’t work that way. That path leads to eternal disaster. And hard times here.

  4. Things could be better. Then again, things could be much worse. Learn gratitude. Remember Israel in the desert.

  5. We live in exciting times. And in scary times. Is it possible have the former without the latter? Probably not.

  6. An original verse: You know your present life could turn much worse: / Alone, with bodily harm or empty purse.

  7. A Bible verse: “Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?” Rm 6.16.

What say you?
