Teaching and example, just what we need

Me: This is why the New Testament has both teaching and example, from Jesus to the apostles to many of the faithful disciples. It’s got what we need!

I encourage you, then, be imitators of me, 1Co 4.16.

Humility

Jesus had to humble himself to become our Savior, Phil 2.5-11. We must humble ourselves to be saved. So in the sense of a mental attitude, we must be like him.
