Gagging on ‘passionate’

When somebody talks about being “passionate” about something, I gag. It’s already a buzzword.

In spite of several people absent yesterday because of possible exposure to the virus, we had a good number, and probably our best participation online.

The designated preacher for yesterday found out at the last minute that he had been exposed, so he decided to stay home. It all worked out.

I’d prepared to do a meditation for the Lord’s supper. I combined sermon and meditation. Copious notes helped.

Governor tightened screws starting today on lockdown. Will last at least until the end of the month. No religious meetings. Obey God rather than man. I’m passionate about that.
