  4. Instead of translating, NLT interprets in postmodernist language of feelings: “And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had” (NLT). Not what the text says.

  5. Little things make a difference. Distinctions are important. Feelings are not declarations of practice.

  6. An original verse: Let us rightly shrink away in fear / Of leaving the love of God and refusing to hear.

  7. A Bible verse: “But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love!” Revelation 2.4 NET.
